Country estate
Your holiday, your tempo
Our lovingly restored 17th-century country estate looks onto the enchanting waters of the Mediterranean. Twelve holiday apartments surrounded by olive groves, oak trees and citrus plants. Home to donkeys, goats and a flock of hens, A’ Cràpa Mangia welcomes you with abundant space to breathe deeply. Not to mention authentic Italian country life between lush green hills, crystal-clear seas and thousands of years of culture.
Apartments
Settling in
A place that is light and airy on warm days, soundtracked by nearby birdsong or chirping cicadas. Or comfortable and warm when the weather turns cooler. A place to settle, to explore, then gladly return to.
Tempo Tuo
Roll out the yoga mat on the terrace at the crack of dawn, or sleep in late. Dive into shimmering blue waters or get lost in the winding alleyways of an unfamiliar town. Meet your neighbours in the village or discover traces of ancient culture. Challenge yourself in nature, cook together and gather around the table at the end of the day to trade stories of the day’s adventures.
ACTIVITIES
Italy's best-kept secret
A’ Cràpa Mangia lies in the heart of the protected Cilento region. Bespoke apartments within sight of the famous Amalfi Coast, yet removed from mass tourism. Here, people have retained the freedom to do things their own way.
At the market, you’ll find the produce of nearby fields, barns, and fishing nets, alongside the chatter of local gossip. Even in the height of summer, when life by the turquoise sea gets lively, the vibe in our coastal towns remains typically Italian; things are pretty relaxed here. Ancient cultural sites, medieval mountain villages and scenic coastal roads – everyday fare for the locals, hidden treasures for visitors.
Arrangements
Living with the seasons
At A’ Cràpa Mangia, we live immersed in nature. We experience the rhythm of the sea, the path of the sun and the subtle growth of our plants. Each season has its own colours, smells and flavours.
Nothing tastes more like summer than freshly picked tomatoes cooked together to make sugo. Nothing feels more like community than climbing ladders to help with the autumnal olive harvest. And anyone who has ever felt the glowing winter sun during Christmas dinner on the terrace knows that Cilento remains a place to enjoy in the grayer months. Come and be a part of it.
